Reman Day 2018

Reman Day 2018

EWING, NEW JERSEY - In celebration of Reman Day 2018, Heights USA, Inc. will mark a three decade long legacy of remanufacturing products used in the commercial printing (graphic arts) industry on April 12th.

The celebration is part of an effort to educate companies and end users of equipment about the value of remanufacturing durable goods and draw attention to this critical part of the US economy.

Remanufacturing is a comprehensive and rigorous industrial process by which a previously sold, leased, used, worn, or non-functional product or part is returned to a 'like-new' or 'better-than-new' condition, from both a quality and performance perspective, through a controlled, reproducible, and sustainable process.

This Reman Day, sponsored by the Remanufacturing Industries Council, is an annual national event executed at local level supported by remanufacturers, and is designed to showcase the economic and environmental benefits of remanufacturing.

"As part of our overall business, Heights USA has been remanufacturing durable plate making and processing equipment since the 1980's for industry leaders such as Kodak, Agfa and DuPont", says Tim Philburn, General Manager of Heights USA, Inc.  "Our goal of Reman Day is to advocate remanufactured goods and identify other products and businesses that can benefit from working with Heights to offer remanufactured goods in the future."
